The results of the Whittlesea round were not what was needed to make the Finals, but a good showing at home next Monday could move our teams into the top half of the ladder.

Notable players at Whittlesea were Shayne Cairns, Chris Petrovski and Wolf Dietrich, who all won their matches and the ever-steady Joe Caruana, who fought back from an early deficit to square his match.

Many of the other matches were close affairs and we will need to give thought after the season end, as to how we give our teams the experience to close out more of these close ones.
