In complete contrast to Round 3 which was played in ideal “winter” conditions – Round 4 found true winter returning.

The day dawned with driving rain and freezing winds, and players withdrawing from the field faster than Razor Rays’s whistle – obviously choosing the warmth of the doona over the chilly expanse of the 1st tee. Then, just after 9 am, the clouds parted, the wind dropped and the sun broke through to reveal a perfect day for golf.

Ron Dingle continued his rich vein of form to pip young tyro Joel Mitchell in a count back!

Michael McGrath continues to show great consistency to stay on top of the pack…

With 2 rounds to play the race is still wide open…
