Dear Members,

It is with much delight that we welcome Lesley O’Connell to the YGC Committee. Lesley brings a great deal of enthusiasm and balance to the committee and will be a valued member going forward.

Lesley joins the committee to fill a casual vacancy created when Trevor Perry left the club due to a change in personal circumstances and Greg Hayes resigned recently due to health concerns.

As we know volunteering to serve on any Committee can be daunting, challenging, frustrating and time-consuming – it can also be rewarding, invigorating and offer a sense of fulfilment and achievement.

We trust you will all join us in making Lesley feel welcome as she settles in to her role within the Committee.

On behalf of the Committee members and Executive, congratulations Lesley,on your leap of faith into the great unknown, and we look forward to working with you as we work to take Yarrambat Golf Club into a bright future.
