Congratulations to Des Borg on yet another hole-in-one; this time on the 8th hole!

In Des’ own words…

“On approaching the eight hole my round was on the crossroads to tragedy where I needed a miracle to climb out of this rutt. 

I walked on and teed up my ball on the eight with my team mates Gavin, Joe and John looking on. 

With precise timing I slowly to my backswing and with a delicate forward swing I hit my ball dead straight at the tee. 

As it hit the tee I called it that this will be a hole in one. John commented it was close but I could see it went into the hole. 

As we all walked up to the hole I could not see my ball at all, but then Joe walk up to the hole first, and to his suprise I was correct with my call of a HIO. 

Luckily I had other witnesses at the time as the police chopper was hovering over and around the hole.”
