Seniors Pennant Finals

Published on 17th March 2021 in Uncategorized

Playing the final round of ‘home and away’ rounds at home, Yarrambat Reds took full advantage. Using all their local knowledge and skill to craft a fantastic result against Rosanna Blue winning 6 of the 8 matches to secure 12 vital points and finish in Top Spot on the table.

This rocketed them into the Pennant Final against Rosanna Green (who lowered their colours for the first time this season in the last round). Rosanna Green were the team that took 7 1/2 of 8 matches against the Yarrambat Blacks in round 1, so the challenge is there to redeem club pride and bring home the 🏆trophy.

This is also the first time a Yarrambat team has made the Pennant match-play final in this competition. Well done to Jenny and her team on a great season. Go Bats!

The Blacks will be playing off for the Plate – where the highest team aggregate Stableford score takes home the prize. After a shocking start to the season, the Blacks fought back really well to produce some solid form, not losing another match after that first round. Well done to the Blacks on finding the right formula – if they string it together in the last round – where every point counts – we could have both the Pennant and the Plate.
