Members,

As we approach the end of the year, we pause to reflect on the year that has passed.

As a Club we have bid farewell to a few members taken from us too soon, and at the same time we have grown, welcoming many new members. 

A few members have taken a break (temporarily we hope) due to illness or injury and some have cut back or retired from play – including with great sadness and regret, foundation member Ron Titterton, who at 93 has pulled on his Footjoys for the last time, but is also maintaining his membership to stay connected to his club.

The end of year events will be as follows.

Wednesday 18th December – there will be a BBQ on offer through the day, staffed by Belgravia, in thanks and recognition of our partnership, with drinks also provided during or after the round. 

Format for the day is a pairs, Split 6s event. Regular tee times available. Competition entry is free. Bookings open as usual.

Stableford point scoring – Best score for holes 1-6, aggregate of scores for holes 7-12 and scores multiplied for holes 13-18.

 

Saturday 21st – Presentation Day ($0 event for all members)

Format for the day is 4 player Ambrose. 8:15 & 8:25 shotgun start (min) 3 drives each.

Competition entry is free. 

After play concludes, drinks will be provided and food will be served (commencing about 1PM) whilst we recognise and celebrate the many achievements of our members across the course of the last 12 months.

All members are invited and encouraged to play in our end of year club event, see you there! 

Bookings for the presentation day will open on Thursday 12th December at 8PM

 

2025 bag tags are also available for collection – if you are yet to receive yours, please see one of the Committee members.
