Barry (Baz) Bennett achieved a life time goal today (17th Feb 2025) by

knocking in a hole in one on the 5th hole. Not bad for an 84 year old

golfer. Lets hope we can all achieve that sort of great golf at that age.

 

Barry took his driver and hit a nice draw to the right side of the green

and used the slope to set the roll perfectly for the ball to drop into

the hole.

 

The shot was witnessed by Allan Davies who, from the tee, thought it was

directly behind the flagstick but as we got onto the green and looked

into the hole, there it was.

 

For his trouble Barry scored a cool 6 stableford points on the 5th which

propelled him to his C Grade win today with 40 points.
