Some exciting news to share.

This Tuesday, 8 April at 1PM the Liberal Candidate for the Federal seat of McEwan (Jason McClintock) is coming to the Golf Course to make an election commitment for our Driving Range,

In summary:

The election commitment will be $400,000 towards an upgrade of our Driving Range

For it to come to fruition, we need the Liberal Party to win the Federal Election. It doesn’t matter if Liberal win the seat of McEwan specifically – they just have to win the Federal election.

Belgravia have committed to the minimum 10% contribution to the project. Along with this Federal funding initiative they are also pursuing a funding opportunity between Belgravia and Nillumbik Council which we should know more about in the next few 3 – 4 months.

We are looking to have around 30 Yarrambat Golf Club members, in the latest club kit – (dark blue shirt!)  attend to support the announcement / be available to be part of a group photo.

Jess the golf pro is also locked in.

Let’s represent and see if we can get someone to do something that will benefit the often forgotten members of our club! (Dark blue club shirt & cap  – let’s make sure we outnubmber anyone else there!)
