Change to NTP markers.

Published on 27th August 2018 in Uncategorized

In response to members’ concerns regarding the (bulky) size of the NTP Markers, a change of process has been introduced.

We briefly returned to ‘balls on sticks’ only to see a return of scratching the green with deep v’s, so…

Recording Nearest the Pins

  • The Marker is to measure the distance from the pin (distances are not to be ‘paced out’)
    • Supplied measuring tape or electronic distance measuring device (to the nearest cm) must be usedĀ
  • Record the date, Player’s name and distance on NTP markerĀ
  • Record distance on the back of the player’s score card (as a back up record)

The NTP marker is now to be left off the putting surface – at the back or side of the green.

If you have the NTP – make sure you sign and submit your card, otherwise you will not be eligible to claim a prize.

If you are the last group, please bring the markers in and place them next to the scorecard box.
