Beware snakes (and magpies)

Published on 1st October 2018 in Uncategorized

As the we head into the warmer months, please be aware that if you see a moving brown, or stripey stick – it is most likely not a stick!

Please don’t try to make friends or feed the snakesĀ (John, Sean – please take note!) A few have already been spotted by the 7th green, 9th hazard and the near 16th bunker. Extra care should be taken near the water hazards and reeds.

It it also nesting season for magpies – whose feathers were seriously ruffled at the MCG last weekend by the mighty Eagles.

Please care care down the right hand side of the 7th and 15th fairways in particular, and be aware of the extensive family of magpies that will steal the pie out of your mouth on the 11th tee! (John, Sean please teach your ‘family’ some manners!)

regards,

Stuart Thompson
