Safety & consideration on the course
Published on 16th March 2022 in UncategorizedMembers,
A quick reminder to demonstrate a little patience and courtesy on course, so everyone can go home after their round, there have been a few (very) close calls lately;
- If you, or anyone else in your group, stray from your tee box or fairway toward the trees or another fairway, yell out “Fore” (LOUDLY – not some feeble, half-a**ed whisper) whether or not you think someone is there. Please get into the habit so you do it every time, even on social rounds.
- Don’t leave bags, buggies or carts in front of a green – move them off to the side (this help pace of play also).
- Ring the bell (vigorously) on the 7th every single time. And if you’re a long bomber – give the bell-ringer time to move off before you launch one over the trees.
- Don’t hit up on the group in front.
- Exercise care of the par 3’s – make sure the group in front is clear before you bounce one off the path.
- Finally, you are not permitted to move the red or yellow HAZARD MARKERS under any circumstance.
Thank you.
